I currently help to build data product and solutions, by experimenting with different ML models while performing tracking with ML-flow experiment tracker, building CI/CD pipelines for efficient model deployment and then maintaining ML models in production environment using MLOps best practices.
I’ve worked as a Data science collaborator on a wide variety of business problems like App User segmentation, credit score classification and worked with tools like python, SQL pytorch .
During my professional studies and internship, I gained valuable experience working on hands-on real-life business problems using various techniques such as supervised ML, unsupervised ML. I also worked on deploying ML applications on production Environment and utilizing cloud resources for heavy workload deployment.

Collaborating on different AI projects at Omdena has taught me a lot about how to build machine learning systems to solve business problems ranging from from Regression, classification and unsupervised learning task
Working at Explore AI has taught me a lot about how to conceptualize ,build, and maintain integrated systems that continuously operate in production.
I started my journey as a data analyst with Tristics Ltd Nigeria. where i was introduced to various visualization tools like PowerBI, Tableau
Learnt how to normalize databases and to run complex SQL queries on databases to gain insights on the Data as an Intern at explore
I am proud to have worked on a project aimed at helping small businesses in the e-commerce industry. The project's main goal was to reduce customer churn rates by analyzing customer behavior and identifying the reasons behind it. We understood that acquiring new customers is typically more expensive than retaining existing ones, so we wanted to offer a solution that would enable businesses to offer suitable incentives to keep their customers. One of the biggest challenges we identified was the lack of analytics tools available to traders in Saudi Arabia's e-commerce market. Therefore, we set out to create a tool that could help these businesses analyze customer behavior, which could, in turn, help them retain more customers and avoid closing their stores. Overall, I am proud of the knowledge sharing and teamwork that took place during the project, which improved our skills and helped us overcome challenges together.
One of my proudest projects involved creating a recommendation algorithm using content or collaborative filtering for the movie industry. The algorithm was designed to accurately predict how a user would rate a movie they have not yet viewed, based on their historical preferences. This project was particularly exciting because it addressed the critical need for recommender systems in today's technology-driven world. The algorithm had significant economic potential, as it provided personalized recommendations to users, generating platform affinity for streaming services that facilitated the audience's viewing.I am proud to have contributed to the development of this algorithm, which had the potential to help users discover great titles from tens of thousands of options and make optimized choices surrounding the content they engage with on a daily basis.
One project that I am particularly proud of involved building a Machine Learning model for a company that focuses on reducing environmental impact. The goal was to classify people's beliefs about climate change based on their tweets, which would aid the company's market research efforts and inform their marketing strategies. By creating an accurate and robust solution to this task, we were able to provide the company with valuable insights into consumer sentiment regarding climate change across various demographics and geographic regions. This project not only aligned with my personal values and ideals but also allowed me to contribute to a larger mission of promoting sustainability and environmental awareness.
Our project began by analyzing the current treatments and drugs used in breast cancer regimens, with a focus on determining the most potent drugs with the least amount of product. We also aimed to predict if a woman would pass a gene down to her offspring or identify carrier cells that could be removed, as well as investigating drugs that could remove cancer-causing properties from these cells. Our project goals included analyzing the performance of various chemical structures used in breast cancer medication, developing a model to predict the peak performance of these structures, and providing insights into past performances of analyzed structures. We also sought feedback from the Omdena Team to guide our project's direction and continuously improve our machine learning model's capabilities.
One project that I am proud of is exploring and implementing unsupervised methods for clustering customer data. Unlike supervised machine learning techniques that require labeled data, unsupervised methods allow for the grouping of data into previously unseen clusters, revealing new insights about the customer base. Throughout the project, I utilized various methods for cluster analysis and dimensionality reduction to visualize and interpret the resulting clusters. By closely examining the impactful features within each cluster, I was able to uncover valuable information about customer behavior and preferences. I found this project to be highly rewarding as it allowed me to develop a deeper understanding of unsupervised learning techniques and their applications in real-world scenarios. It was also gratifying to uncover new insights that could potentially lead to improved customer engagement and retention strategies for the organization.
One project that I am particularly proud of is when I worked as a Data Scientist at Eskom. As part of this project, I was tasked with developing seven functions using Python to calculate various metrics for the Eskom analytics team. These functions had to be able to process both numeric and text data, and I used my knowledge of list manipulation, dictionaries, basic statistics and aggregations, function definitions, and PEP8 coding style to complete the project. I was very satisfied with the final output of the functions, and I submitted them to the team at the end of the sprint. Overall, this project was a great example of my ability to apply my technical skills to real-world problems and deliver high-quality solutions.
One of my most proud projects was when I worked as a consultant for Bhejane Trading, an online retailer specializing in the sale of COVID-related essential items. I was tasked with the objective of normalizing their database to bring it into 3rd Normal Form (3NF). The database had 2 tables (products and transactions) that were initially unnormalized. Through my efforts, I successfully normalized the database, which greatly improved the store’s inventory management system.
One of my proudest projects was building an informative dashboard using Microsoft Power BI, which utilized Eskom data to provide insight into the current South African energy crisis. The project involved connecting to new data sources related to Eskom's power generation, changing data source locations, and creating new visuals. Through the dashboard and its underlying reports, we were able to answer multiple-choice questions and derive valuable insights.
